Yep, the first one had a higher HP IV which made it survive the Venoshock


My Togepi survived a super effective Venoshock from a Venusaur

Anyway, that Togepi has IV's of 28/x/31/31/31/31 and Modest nature. Good enough, not gonna bother for those 3 extra HP IV's and a possibly slightly better nature.

There are IV calculators around various Pokemon sites that you just input the stat number, nature, and level of the Pokemon and it will pop out with the IV's 0-31

Pretty interesting, although I caught most of the references, he did talk about a few I didn't notice yet.

Something else that I noticed is the Christian reference in his name. Christ says "I am the Alpha and the Omega..." in Revelations when discussing how those who live a filthy life will continue to be filthy, those live a righteous life with continue to be righteous etc. indicating an idea of everlasting life and living with what you've done. Alpha and Omega are the Greek letters A and Z. AZ is literally named "AlphaOmega" and he is possibly "living forever" in exile, depending on interpretation.

togekiss because when you think about it, shadow sneak kills all other ghosts and sacred sword kills the only user of dark moves(tyranitar) so you only need to cover the ground weakness and togekiss does that by stopping garchomp cold and walling noivern(the only relevant user of fire attacks)
