"Brave new girl" is flawless , one of my favorite ones on the record, Really cute, fun, empowering song for all the girls that follow her , its a really well done piece.

Did you even read what I posted, I said I heard an LQ snippet. All I could hear in the was part of the pre-chorus and chorus which consists of a piano instrumental followed by a section of strings.
Her voice sounds like in the pre.chourus of "I'll Never Stop Loving You" but slightly deeper and with the sadness of "Everytime".

Is you an Emile stan?
I would think with her plaguing UK radio for the past 2 years, you'd want her dead but to all their own.

Sis, I eat up anything Britney releases. Urban or not.
I was actually more excited about getting a Dr. Luke track. So, yes, I guess you can say I'm more inclined towards dance pop producers [Luke, MAX, Fraser T. Smith, Bloodshy & Avant etc].

Cool, now this is something . . . . And is it catchy? Are the melodies beautiful? is it better than "Everytime" ?

I don't like it THAT much, I consider it the weakest track on the record but I wouldn't say it's a bad song. Britney used to be a calculator, she always knew what she was doing and she didn't get it wrong on that album. I'm not expecting Britney Jean to be a better album or equal In the Zone, I hope it can come close, at least, to Blackout and ITZ.

The weakest track on the record to me is "Outrageous" but I love it , I mean I love every song on it.
And Yeah , I also hope "Britney Jean" to be up there in the trinity (fingers crossed) . . . . Both ITZ and Blackout were epic, she kinda lost it musically with "Circus" and "Femme fatale"

I think it's Everytime 2.0 tbh.
If you want me to be more specific about her vocals:
- when sings "sometimes" in the pre-chorus she does it in a deep raspy voice
- in the chorus she pronounces the word "natural" as "natral"
- in the "'bout her or about me" line she drags the ending and sounds like "abooooooooout me"
- the "want it all over you" line she does it in her signature high-pitch voice
- she also drags the last chorus line "I gotta mark my territory" and goes like "territooooooooooo -ry"

Because I want her to get those coins and avoid another WB-sized flop.

Wow you're serious .... And what about the "she'll smell my perfume" hook?
Would you rank "Perfume" better than every single she has released since "Womanizer" ?

You're right about "Outrageous", it's one of the weakest tracks on the albums as well, IMO. She did, but I don't think it's completely her fault.

Nah its not her fault , "Circus" needed to be her comeback so everything was valid in that time . . . And for "Femme fatale" she wasn't as passionate thats all.
Besides those albums are still better than some other bitches' records.

I didn't get to hear the hook. The snippet runs for 40 seconds and these are the lyrics that were part of it:
Quote:
...It's just you and me
Sometimes it feels like there's three
of us in here baby
So I, wait for you to call
And I try to act natural
have you been thinking 'bout her or about me
And while I wait I put on my perfume, yeah I want it all over you
I gotta mark my territory...
|
I think it's her best ballad since "Everytime", it's way different from what she's been releasing post-2007 and it might really become an instant classic if handled well. The song slays me already and I haven't even listened to the full thing yet.
