Sales for older songs tend to pick up later in the season and depending on when and how well she does could possibly overtake her, but I don't see any singles off of this year's new holiday releases being much competition.

I've heard that some people released Christmas albums the same time Kelly did. If that's true, Kelly is actually more relevant than I thought.

The only competition she has are from the Duck Dynasty family. I don't think any of their songs charted higher than "silent night" did on itunes. And in the next few weeks, UTT will start playing on Pop and most likely AC and HAC. And she'll start promoting it on tv.

The big holiday albums released this season were KC, Mary, Duck Dynasty, Susan Boyle, and Leona Lewis. The only one left to release their album is Leona.

Yeah that seems like the type of album that most people will buy as a whole.

I think Leona's single is coming out next week but there appears to be little hype for it in the states.

The only one I skip is Baby It's Cold Outside and it's sometimes now. Her voice is heavenly on that song, just don't like the guys.

I honestly only listen to the originals on the album, since I've heard the others too many times before.The originals are also the highlights of the album for me.

I listen to everything BUT the originals. They're a bit whiney as well as perky for my taste, which is totally allowed as it's Xmas music.

Edit: Except EC. I keep forgetting that's an original because it already sounds like an old-fashioned classic. I'm impressed with this song.

My #1 favorite changes with WIR and UTT but I have a feeling Wrapped In Red will be close to my heart for a while.
