No sorry I don't agree. When she means evolving as an artist she means that her material as well as the things she does change. Although MJH is reminiscent in production the melody is no where near the same as those songs nor is the structure and neither is the lyrical content. The song actually reminds me of a lot of other songs not by her. The truth is that you're going to find similarities in her work because she wrote them. But she's not constantly going to try to repeat the same songs over and over for your gratification. If you disagree maybe you should jump ship so you don't disappoint yourself.

I understand having an artistic vision and trademark like her repeated syllables, but I think that when someone would say, "What's the new Bad Romance?" they could easily be saying "What's the new Bloody Mary?" with Mary Jane Holland being the answer. The songs don't have to sound exact to be compared. I don't think people are craving for a song called "Wrong Love Affair" when wanting a new "Bad Romance", but something of that quality, feeling, etc.

I am still waiting for her next "Poker Face" or "Bad Romance". The definitions of "growing" and "evolving" are subjective. I saw no evolution or growth during 'Born This Way' era, for example.
