Although MJH is reminiscent in production the melody is no where near the same as those songs nor is the structure and neither is the lyrical content. I understand having an artistic vision and trademark like her repeated syllables, but I think that when someone would say, "What's the new Bad Romance?" they could easily be saying "What's the new Bloody Mary?" with Mary Jane Holland being the answer. The songs don't have to sound exact to be compared. I don't think people are craving for a song called "Wrong Love Affair" when wanting a new "Bad Romance", but something of that quality, feeling, etc.
