Paulina sucks as a judge. She'll get fired after this season. I don't even know what Simon was thinking hiring that Shakira knock off. She brings nothing to the table.

They will all get fired, the show will not get new season
I think another network should buy the format, the FOX schedule is wack and the show doesnt work with it.
I agree.
It seems like FOX is the only network that aires the World Series so unless they starting airing on a different network, X Factor will continue getting screwed over and we'll end up with double eliminations almost every season.

I was telling people many years ago that X Factor is going to have an indirect tug-o-war contest for viewers against American Idol by just being on Fox. Simon and Fremantlemedia made a BIG mistake by putting the X Factor USA on Fox instead of a well-known singing talent show franchise-less networks like CBS and ABC. There is going to be a reality singing contest fatigue anyway, but X Factor and AI on the same network only hasten the process and X Factor got the short end of the stick because of the TV scheduling conflicts during the fall season and The Voice catching up to the public made it worse. People in here said I was CRAZY when I was just spilling them hot bitter tea of economics, business management and common sense.
These are apparently the themes for the November live shows. I hope some of them are wrong
Week 2: Motown
Week 3: 1980s
Week 4: Songs from U.K. Artists - this I'm here for
Week 5: Band duets...umm what?
They couldn't do something more current? This is X Factor, not Idol.
Looks fake but I'm here for Motown

Look at y'all now. :
I always thought it was odd too, I'm sure quite a few other networks were interested in the format, is that true?

Fox offered the most money and they took it.
Their fault. Simon thought *he* was Idol and after he left, the ratings would tank and X Factor would eventually either 1) replace Idol or 2) take Idol's winter/spring slot.

Pffff at teh Kween ha ego.
I was rooting for Simon after he left AI just for him to return to Fox. What kind of mess is that?

It didn't help that Queen Cheryl got fired.
The biggest mistake he made was to publicly say "anything less than 20 million viewers is a disappointment". I mean atleast be realistic, the show opened with decent numbers but because of that statement a lot of people wrote it off as a flop.

I remember that but I think X Factor could have done it if the show started on 2010(could've also avoided the Voice comparisons). He lost all the momentum he got from his AI exit by time season 1 started.
