I just realized only two of my faves are still going strong
1. Utada Hikaru // hiatus
2. Ayumi Hamasaki // shadow of former self
3. Ai Otsuka // shadow of former self
4. alan // was dropped and moved back to China
5. Chihiro Onitsuka // became a clown
6. lecca // still going strong
7. MAA // flopped too much
8. Perfume // shadow of former selves
9. Momoiro Clover Z // still going strong
10. Mika Nakashima // just okay now
If anything proves they are on the rise it's this.
their vocals were definitely some type of way there but it was a really FUN stage, at the very least. It just made it clear how great of a live singer Koda was in comparison to the modern generation's popular kids.
Namie Amuro looking bland and interchangeable for Hot Pepper
So bland yet you felt the need to post them in this thread? LOL, such an undercover stan. Funny how you love to TRY it with Namie yet the second someoen tries it with *cough*Crystal Kay*cough* you throw a fit. How's Crysal's little US buzz single Dum Diddly Flop doing by the way?
Namie stays the bottom barrell of the J-pop divas and with Ayuma coming back I don't see a place for her anymore. FEEL was evidence enough of her overexposure. Sales are declining as is the quality of the latest material at hand. Neon Lipstick and that other song are the epitome of FORGETTABLE.
Dum Ditty Dumb wasn't released as an official single, it was a test experiment to see if her fanbase can resonate with the type of music she's seeking out to do for her US debut. We don't approve, and therefore things are in a blurry right now. I have no doubt whatever she's cooking up at the moment will be life-changingly awesome.
I'm a full-time Kuu stan now tho, just so y'all know.

On a more brighter side, I was enjoying Lisa Yamagouchi's DRAMA album yesterday.
