I got a WP last night for deleting something that someone else reported me for. Apparently what I posted wasn't WP worthy but deleting it was, even though I deleted the post for a completely different reason than to avoid a WP.

Yup. The mod said they weren't going to warn me for the picture but because I deleted it after it had gotten reported it seemed like I was trying to avoid getting a WP.
I tried explaining my reasoning in HQ but APPARENTLY NO ONE READS WHAT I POST THERE
I'd make a bigger fuss but tbh I can see why the actual picture might have been warnable even if the mod didn't agree. Plus I'm not really sitting on a ton of WPs right now so it's not all that big of a deal.

Yeah, I've reported maybe ten people since I've been here, but only like one or two things in the past month. I'm pretty lax on what I report; I don't report regular shade unless it's like really offensive.
I've gotten two WPs in my time here, both in this thread and I'm pretty sure both from the same user, but I can't say either one was wholly undeserved.

I'd love to be a DJ on some major radio station and pick what gets played.
DJs don't get to pick the songs. They have a playlist that they have to abide by or they'll be fired. There might be a few minutes here it there where they're allowed to play what they want, tho.
Ugh since both my posts in HQ have been paid absolute dust and this is going to be near the top of the page: is there a set minimum amount of time you can request a self-ban for? These research papers aren't going to finish themselves.
How about you log out and get some self control instead?

Despite having to stick to the playlist most of the time, I'm sure they have some freedom throwing in songs, even if it's just for a few slots here and there. Also, I think the DJs are involved in creating and updating the playlist, which must take place at least once a week.
