For a long time I assumed I didn't like Taylor because of her voice and because her songs are so cloying, but then Carly Rae came around I really can't say that she's any less cloying than Taylor, so I'm kind of at a loss as to why I dislike her so much. I don't think I can chalk it all up to her voice.

New Miley is also contending for that list, tbh. With the exception of "Adore You" I just could not get into anything off Bangerz. "We Can't Stop" has a nice melody but terrible lyrics and "Wrecking Ball" is eh. I love the prechorus melody on WB but the song doesn't even get remotely interesting until like the last chorus.

But Ellie ain't coming anywhere with that old single. Burn is cute but I need another Anything Can Happen.

And bye. Amy and Nick together have more talent than 90% of the music industry. Nick can play several instruments and produce while looking hot as hell. Amy can sing, hit impressive notes and rap, too (and sometimes are incredibly fast speeds.)

Their EP sounded like a compilation of Katy rejects, which is pretty damning in and of itself, but her "ooh I'm a white girl rapping" schtick made it even worse .
"Brokenhearted" was a bop, but that was more due to the fact that my body pretty much requires me to jam out to anything that even sort of sounds like "Last Friday Night," hence why "Birthday" is pretty much the only song I've listened to for the past week.
