It got a red update after all the pre orders were counted, just like Katy's promo singles. DWUW has only been out for 10 hours so you can't really talk about its longevity yet.

The new policy is just that they count legit, paid downloads for preorders when the thing goes on sale - which is logical - and roll them over after ten hours, the latter part of which is actually detrimental to an artist's charting.
