For me, my biggest problem with Prism is that it all sounds like one long song after you pass, like, the sixth of so song. So far, everything from ARTPOP has been so diverse and that for me is what I look for in an album. I personally know I will like ARTPOP more because a) it's Gaga and she's be fave and b) I like faster music over slower music.

Lady Gaga's music always sounds dated, or extremely busy. Lady Gaga doesn't know how to edit when it comes to production, so it tends to sound like a ball of noisiness with some nonsensical lyrics over the top of it. None of what we've heard from ARTPOP so far sounds dated or over-produced so the foundation of your entire "opinion" has just crumbled.
Experimenting with your sound =/= pretentiousness
