Katy has definitely grew, evolved, and re-invented her sound this era, it's more mature and the music has alot of lyrical depth, substance, and meaning, the sound of this album is sort of reminiscent of One Of The Boys. It definitely incorporates some elements from Teenage Dream but it's conveyed and executed in a more mature way, the album is like a mixture of 50% of One Of The Boys and 50% Teenage Dream combined together. It's the perfect balance of ballads and pop music, it isn't overwhelmingly one genre and sound and it isn't repetitive or dull in it's content. Good job Katy sis . I can't wait for that critical acclaim and high metacritic score .

I was shocked tbh, I was expecting a lot more bops but this album is really laid back - but in a good way!

I only like Spiritual, almost all the song sound either really dated or generic.
In the end, the 3 songs already released ended up being the best ones of the album.

Anyways, no offense intended, I guess Katy Perry just isn't for me.

This could have been the entire soundtrack to High School Musical and no one would have been the wiser. The album sounds rather juvenile and aside from a few new tracks, the best songs have already been debuted. It's a shame she ruined BTGOG with the production. The stripped down version is far superior.
