Agreed! I prefer more diverse albums over cohesive ones. Unfortunately, most of the songs on Prism blend together & leave a bit to be desired.

I'll always stan Katy & I'll definitely grow to like the album a lot but It doesn't touch Teenage Dream or One of the Boys for me. When listening to the previews, A lot of the chorus' seem to be lacking that "power" that she usually has in her songs. They're more layed back & seem to easily blend in with the verses.
On a positive note, It seems that "Roar" is the most basic track on the album. I guess we should all be lucky that she gave us something different from her previous albums instead of delivering a TD knock-off.
