Omg thank god. I didn't want to believe it, but GF has been messing up so many types this gen, ( Florges not being f/g, chesnaught not being g/s,the Z not being part bug etc~) so I was worried.

The gap from the 1st to the 2nd Gym is pretty HUGE

After the 2nd Gym it goes pretty fast and it's not confusing at all

It's not confusing at all, it's just that there is a decent sized gap (much more than we're used to) between the first and second gym. The other gyms seem to be paced a bit more normally, if not a tiny bit longer in between gyms. A good thing, imo.

There's a massive gap between the first and second gym. You have to pass through like 3 towns, a city and do two sidequests between Santalune and Cyllage.

there's a huge gap between the first + second gym, 13 levels.
Not only that, but early access to the GTS, Pokemon Amie, Super Training, Breeding and 150+ pokemon before the second gym really slows people down.

A lot of people on Tumblr complained about the lack of new Pokemon, but I feel like this game more than anything is just a way to introduce people to the new 3D platform, which is amazing. The things they will be able to do with the next generations will be amazing.

Yeah, the game being 3D makes everything seem new despite the lessened amount of new Pokémon. I keep seeing Pokémon I've known and used for years in 3D and they somehow surprise me. I saw Sentret and it was so much bigger than I ever thought it was (and fatter).
