You can't really go by Unapologetic alone. It isn't all that surprising the more urban influenced sound didn't attract as many buyers there as her previous albums. It doesn't cater for the masses in the UK and Europe, where the mainstream pop music dominates the charts. Talk That Talk says hi. Even though TTT took a century to get there, it's still impressive. There's no difference whatsoever. Like TTT produces two pop/dance, Unap producws two pop/ballads which became hits. Yet TTT outsold Unap with a bigger margin. Also TTT has Talk that talk (title track) which is as urban as the songs in Unap. I cant see why urban is to blame.
I'll blame lack of promo and momentum for Unap.
