I think Rihanna's smart to have fallen back on the promo because with her eras literally running into each other, she'd be severely overexposed if she were to do a full on promo blitz at the beginning of each one. I think she does just enough -- she has her videos, usually does the major award shows, a few interviews and late night performances and falls back.

Bey does heavy promo, but, then she falls back for a good year to two before her next promo blitz so it balances out as well.

This was a silly comparison given their strategies are so different now tho.

It was like 5th single to get radio adds.

And dance music has died anyway.
