I can't think of any eight songs on BTW better than TFM. BTW is still a great album. I think it was ahead of the curve too.

TFM is still the highlight of her career. ARTPOP seems to be shaping up to be much better. I hope the critics don't tear her to shreds because she is Gaga, but focus on the music. What we heard at the Swine Fest was better than all of BTW sans the holy trinity (TEOG, Schieße, HML) and on par with TFM

I personally only ever used Bad Romance, Speechless, Alejandro.

Whereas on BTW i literally used every track sans Bad Kids. And they all gave me life. So for me BTW is her best album so far. ARTPOP could take over, but it'll be very difficult in my book.

i mean ARTPOP does have my favorite Gaga song ever (Aura demo) and my most listened to song (Applause) so anything is possible.

...is a stronger 8 track album than TFM. Hands down.

Singles wise, TFM wins.

These are great songs, but not classic material IMO. Though the title track is iconic in its own right.

I think the actual writing on Born This Way was a lot stronger than The Fame/The Fame Monster, but the production was where it faltered. It's funny when you read back at the time when Born This Way just out and you see everyone praising it, and now most of the people here hate on it. Born This Way is still a fantastic album, at least in my opinion.

BTW just had a terrible era. The music was fine, but it wasn't a good era. How do you from Bad Romance to Born This Way?

I think fame was the worst and best thing to happen to Gaga. In short, her writing music "for her fans" kind of put her into a tiny category that defined her fans as gay losers who need to be loved. Like.... I am gay, but I don't experience life as a gay male but as a human. That's why You and I and TEOG are fantastic because they are non-specific emotional songs. I certainly relate to You and I more than I relate to BTW.
