I've decided that I will stick with Google when purchasing phones. I'm perfectly happy with my Nexus 4 but I'm most likely getting rid of it in a month when the Nexus 5 comes out.

Yes, sis! Join in on the fun! HTC will soon abandon the One like they do to all of their phones. You won't ever have that problem with the Nexus 4/5.

Out of those, definetly the G2. It's like a tier above the rest, but obviously because it was just released and the others were released months ago. The reviews have said it even has a better display than the HTC One, which was SUPER praised for its screen, and the battery can easily last for 2 days if you're a normal user.

G2 > HTC ONE > S4 = Xperia Z

If you are on a US contract: If you want a good looking phone that will stand out, the One or Xperia Z. Sony offers 500% better support and updates though. If you want a better screen, the S4/G2 is your best bet, the One is pretty nice to, Z being the oldest, will cost in that department, it's just as sharp though.

If you are buying unlocked: The Xperia Z is the cheapest. Price will go like: XZ<S4<One<G2



Or just wait for the Z1

I would get the Sony Xperia Z, it is just so beautiful + great camera + waterproof (I get water on my phone on the regular - like I just accidentally set my phone in a puddle of water last night and this morning I got some water droplets on the screen, lol).

G2's specs are a bit better than the rest but you don't really have to worry about anyone's perfrormance they all seem pretty impressive.
I'd go with the HTC One (just ordered it actually ), then probably the S4 (because I like the design and gimmicks better than G2), followed by G2 and then xperia Z.

But yeah, if I didn't get the One I'd certainly wait to see the Nexus 5 first before deciding.

Id reccomend either the G2 or the One. The G2 is great but the One just looks and feels more premium, if that matters to you at all. I can NEVER give up the front facing speakers on the One though.

I have a Nexus 4 and I use it with the $30 T-Mobile prepaid plan. It feels great to finally pay so little for phone service. I got it for $250 in August. The nexus 5 is out now but I'm probably just gonna wait for the 6 next year, I'm very happy with what I have now.

I have a HTC One, but I hate how the aluminum edges scratch and dent so easily.

It forces me to use a case, but such beauty shouldn't be covered up.

And my Lumia 925 has an AMOLED screen so my phone could last a day with glance (I don't use the background feature, kinda useless)
