Okay, idek what we were discussing back then anymore...
I'll just say that while those are indeed some mechanics changes, none of those compare to the Special/Physical split, so you can't say this Gen's the one doing the most for the battle mechanics, because it's simply not true.
The only things you can make a case for are the Fairy type and re-typing of some old Pokes, the Steel resistances changes and
maybe the Dual-type attack, because we don't even know exactly how those work or how many of them there will be.
Anyway, I just wish they would be more generous with some stats spreads this Gen, as they were with some type combinations. But they can still make it up for it in other ways, I'm kinda doubtful though.

What's the point of making only 69 new Pokemon if we're still gonna have Pokemons with 400 BST between them?
