I am actually happy about, even though I would have liked to see some (pre-)evolutions of older Pokémon, I think certain generations in the past were too crowded, with too many legendaries and "gimmick" Pokémon, who I guess not many people used or appriciated for their usefullness. We got a new type, 69 Pokémon and the new mega evolutions this gen and I think that is a lot.

I feel the same way. Some typings don't make sense at all, but altogether it's a great set of new Pokémon.

I like to see it as an EP or ~10 track album with good songs only, instead of a 14+ album with fillers
