I wish she or her people or both would get over the idea that she needs to maintain some boyband connection to remain relevant by keeping the teen/tween fanbase. They need to realize her becoming adult and growing up along with her contemporary fans is the only way she'll have long term success with self-respect and integrity

I got to add.. at 19 that guy is way too young for her, but you can bet the media will use the tiniest excuse to print article after article about her "dating" him. If she has any sense of self-respect at all she will nix any and all approaches he makes to her, no matter what chemistry she feels or how cute he is. It'll just end in more mockery of her and more career damaging crap.

I see by the bands twitter they've flown to L.A. today. I hope to Gawd its not another fauxmance set up by her people for promotion in the u.k. for her and in the u.s. for them.

19 is only 4 years younger than her. No one would find that mock-worthy if their genders were reversed; I don't remember anyone laughing at Robert Pattinson or Liam Hemsworth for dating girls with the same age difference. I'm not saying I want Taylor to date this guy, but 'people make fun of her' shouldn't be the reason she doesn't and she shouldn't have to conform to a double standard. People make fun of her writing songs about her exes, too, and it's also sexist ********, but it doesn't mean she should stop doing it.

I don't see how if she gets with a guy she finds cute and has chemistry with, it means she has no self-respect.

Its not the age difference, its the history of questionable taste and possible fake hookups that will make another relationship with a guy like this ridiculous; especially if it doesn't last. And my personal belief is that the Harry thing was more he and his people's using her for U.S. promotion than genuine feelings, that and Harry's need to conquer mentality.

And i think for her own good, outside of professional reasons, she doesnt need another relationship like that. Not that I believe Iit will happen, I don't know. But history doesn't offer much argument against it.

nah that kid broke their contract tho that PR relationship would have gone smoothly on both sides but that kid pulled a d*ck move so

and the PR team of the kid's the one who's begging to Taylor's team to make the fake relationship happen

Being a tabloid fixture is not a good thing for anyone who wants to be respected as a serious artist. And I don't remember her making repeated jabs at Harry afterwards.
Nor can you say that "Harry did nothing to her" You don't know the reason for the split. He and his bandmates have actually made mocking references to her on video also. 'Since the breakup'

And beside all this, her need to make better choices was my whole point in my first rant. One of those better choices would be "not dating another younger guy from a boy-band that desperately wants U.S. exposure, which the very first linking of her name with his would bring him that but just bring more ridicule to her". So she would be the loser because of more tabloid (and mainstream media) press.
