The people in that thread seem to think Merry Go Round has a better chance at a general field nomination than Taylor does... Little do they realize Merry Go Round isn't even eligible at this year's Grammys.

Come to think of it, Kacey will almost definitely win Country Album since they can't nominate MGR.

Two things
1- Winning an album Grammy (unless it's AOTY) is pretty much useless. It cuts off your whole era from further Grammy eligibility. That's why I wouldn't mind sacRED losing. Because I want The Last Time to sweep the Rock Grammys
2- I'm not buying this "the grammys <3 u Kaceyyy" argument (sorry little musgravetors). Thing is, yes, CMA showered her with noms, but that doesn't mean that the Grammys will. Just look at Miranda and Blake.The ACM and CMA have been kissing their asses since they got married, yet the Grammys pay them dust over and over again (Over You snub, Blake never winning a Grammy, Miranda's only Grammy coming from a year when Carrie had released her weakest material to date and the Lord wasn't eligible, etc.). For all we know, Kacey might be the same. But I'm just going to wait for the noms to be announced to make my predictions

They can submit TLT now, and by the time it reaches its peak and everything it will be time for the members to cast their votes, which is a good idea.
Kacey will get BNA and maybe CAOTY, but other than that, her singles didn't really do anything...
