I actually wrote Last Goodbye for Ellie but she wanted to have me on the track, she liked it so much that she wanted to make a part two.

K: Maybe... if it does then we're releasing both parts to the radio at the same day.

TAYLOR COVERS AUSTRALIA ISSUE OF HARPER'S BAZAAR
On this month's issue of Australia's Harper's Bazzar is none other than America's Sweetheart and possibly soon to be Australia's Sweetheart, Taylor Swift. From Taylor Swift to All at Once, Swift is showing herself to be a true force in the music industry today and is set out to make her mark. Taylor gears up for a worldwide tour starting in two weeks and talks about music and beauty in this exclusive two cover issue.




What's your advice to young girls who are looking for love?
Be patient and let him come to you. Looking for love can go well or horribly wrong. Don't rush things. You shouldn't have to force love, it comes naturally. When you feel it, you'll know it.

When did you know you wanted to be a songwriter?
I was eleven when I started writing and it was sort of my haven from everything. All the mean kids in school, all the little things that worried me. It sort of was a vacation from all that. Songwriting is apart of me.

What's your definition of beauty?
Beauty is a thing seldom seen. It is held by all within the soul it lies, waiting to come out to the surface, but it can only be found if someone is sharing your soul with you. Beauty is suppressed by the evils of the world. Only love can bring beauty out. Once seen, beauty never hides again. Not even hatred can deny beauty of it's true design. Beauty, although possessed by all by few and fewer yet will ever see one of the most beautiful sights - the beauty held by you.

If all the fame could go away. What do you think you'd be doing?
I'd work in a bakery and of course write music. But I think the worst part would not being able to share my music with the world.


What do you want to say to people who don't like your or your music?
Nothing. My music isn't for them. It's for people who like my music, for my fans.



All At Once is now out in stores and we can say it's a gorgeous album. How did you put together such a amazing album?
Thank you so much for saying that. I put a lot of hard work into the album and tried to make sure it was my best effort. I changed lyrics, vamped the production, just made sure everything with this album was the best it could be.


Are you excited for your world tour?
I'm so excited to get out there to see all the fans. It's amazing to hear them sing the lyrics back to me. I love it. Most exciting part for me about releasing an album.


What is your current perspective on love?
It's just that light in the distance that you can drive towards and no matter how much you do, it seems like you'll never reach it. But it's constantly in sight.

Carly Rae Jepsen is on the latest issue of Fashion magazine, where she discusses her new music, her love life, and what it's like being Carly Rae Jepsen.

On the music:
"The new music is fun, fun, fun! I wanted to make a sassy record with relatable lyrics, like love and having a good time. I think it's important to stay grounded and make music that you and your fans can relate to. There is a song on the album called "No One's Watching" that's a really fun house record about dancing like no one is watching and everyone can relate to that. The single "Helluva Lover" is a common feeling all girls have - that we will always be better than whoever your ex chooses after you."

On her love life:
"I'm in love and I can honestly say that. I've been dating Matthew [Koma] for a while and being together, being in love, and making music keeps our relationship so strong and beautiful. He executive produced the album and we made some really beautiful stuff. We are best friends and I wouldn't want to be with anyone else in the world."

On her fame:
"It's crazy! Stressful and crazy, but my dream at the same time. I've always wanted to make music, inspire people, and have fans. It's an amazing life I lead and I tell myself that I'm blessed everyday."
