It felt so weird buying BTW on the first day. The store employee at the cash register was judging me HARD. I brought BTW up to the counter so I could pay and the employee (I guess he hadn't seen the motorcycle cover yet) was looking like "WTF is this?". He looked at the album cover, then back at me, then back at the album cover. He looked really disturbed, actually. The struggle was real during the BTW era Let's hope this album cover is better

I left the album booklet on the kitchen counter and forgot to grab it before my mom got home, so she saw it and threw it away

My mom thinks she's satanic, so when she saw THIS picture on the booklet she quoted some bible verse that says the devil disguises himself as an angel of light or something. I couldn't see the picture the same way ever again tbh

So, this was back in 2009 and I asked my mom to buy me TFM (the one with only eight tracks) and then I would buy the two-disc edition the next week. I was sitting at home so excited for her to get back from the store. She came with no CD and said "I didn't see any new Gaga CD there. All I saw was this album cover with some girl with black hair and the bitch had mascara running down her face"...I WAS LIVID. I was like "MOM, THAT WAS THE NEW CD!!!" So, I went back to the store and when I got there they were sold out.

Needless to say, I'LL be the one going to the store to buy ARTPOP.
