WAIT, you're right. She also said that Applause was chosen last minute/almost didn't make ARTPOP when, really, it's been proven that it was chosen summer of 2012. The moral of the story is: Don't trust anything Gaga says.

The problem is, that it is subjective whether the material is bad or not, you can find it awful and an other can see huge hit potential. Interscope is having a habit the last years for holding era's back. So I have kind of a grudge

I think she has to play the album again since she has recorded and remastered certain tracks. Labels always want a final check-up.

Well there are countless of albums that got delayed and reworked after a song flopped/underperformed, no matter how good or bad the material was.
Let's hope that's not what just happened.
