Well is key. The only market it truly flopped in was Australia. It underperformed everywhere else for "Monster standards." We must give a hand to Gaga for maintaining a steady, mid Top 10 pace for this long, considering she didn't start off well.
However, don't try to backtrack with the whole "Applause is successful" when you all dragged Wide Awake, Die Young, etc. for not going #1 when all of them did better than Applause. It has been an underperformance, and Monsters need to recognize this.
