On 22 February 2013, Diamandis revealed to Billboard that she had begun writing songs for her third album whilst in New York for a month-long stint.[48]
On 9 August 2013, producer Dan Dare, who produced Just Desserts, stated to a fan on Twitter that he has been working on a 'little something'[49] with Diamandis, which we can expect to hear 'later for sure'.[50]

Do some stans honestly believe Marina lost her artistic intergrity with Electra Heart??? That album had great songs in it, i say it's unfair and stupid to call it mainstream. She didn't turn into Miley Cyrus or something....

I'm sure there are some people who believe that, but I don't.
The ones who believe that obviously didn't look past the album's production. The fact you can dance and bop along to these songs about depression and heartbreak is really cool, I love that sense of irony.

I'm really excited for Marina to return, but it still doesn't quite feel like she left. The way she dropped a few songs for us this year every couple of months, it made the wait so much easier. It's hard to believe Electra Heart came out a year and a half ago already!

Both albums are FANTASTIC, the songs I listed are the songs that instatntly got stuck in my head. I recommend downloading both albums, both flawless.

The only people who say she lost her artistic integrity are people who probably don't even know her music except for Primadonna and HTBAH and just follow a bandwagon

I absolutely loved Electra Heart the album, but since people said it was incredibly mainstream next to her previous work, I didn't download Family Jewels until a couple days ago. I love is so much omg. It's not even that different from Electra Heart, maybe a bit less radio friendly and a bit more grating, but flawless.

Stanning now tbh. Album 3 isn't going to be out for a while, right?

The Family Jewels is very similiar to EH.
The only difference is that EH has an easier production and her voice isn't as strong on he record.
It took her 2 years to release EH after TFJ so I guess there won't be a new album for a while
But she said she might release songs that didn't make the cut for EH so we have that
