Yes, I was born in 1992. So the first 8 years of my life were in the 90's.

Random, but the earliest music video I remember watching was "No Rain" by Blind Melon, incredible song.
And the first album I remember distinctly loving was Tragic Kingdom by No Doubt. I loved "Don't Speak" so much at that time. I must have been like 3 or 4 years old.

Whenever I think of the 2000's I think of Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake and all that stuff and I just can't relate.

Disney movies were HUGE.

Notice how all these thing 90s kids obsessed over ended in 2003 or changed images.

That generation was called the "Millennials." I consider myself part of that (I was born in 1993). 90s kids listened to grunge. Like you can't be a 90s kid without the Ten album.

I honestly believe that if you cannot remember any of the music from 2001 on (when it was actually popular/at the top of the charts/on the radio) then you're not a 90s kid tbh.

You can't remember pop culture from the 90s and then suddenly not remember any of it from 2001-2005. There are so many '90s kids" who will fight that they know everything from that decade, yet cannot remember more than a song or two from '03/'04.

The sibling point is a good point. My sister was 9 in 1998 so she followed everything closely and it became ingrained in me from the get go. I believe culturally he 90s for KIDS ended in 2002/3. I mean, Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Sailor Moon, Rugrats, Wild Thrnberrys, Dexters Laboratory, Hey Arnold, Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, Christina Aguilera, Spice Girls, S Club 7 etc. ran it's course from 1996-2002/3.

For teens it definitely was about 97/8 because of the whole grunge and rock/rap thing.
