I hope her first single is something universal. I hope she doesn't brag, list accomplishments or any of that. Just a pure, fire hip-hop banger with a catchy chorus.
I agree but knowing Nicki she will mention that Forbes list.
Hopefully she doesn't do as many pop songs and the pop songs are actually good this time. She needs a song or two like "Pound the Alarm", not teenybopper **** like "Starships". But her material should be predominantly hip hop, and it wouldn't be a bad idea to do a mixtape right before her era starts to reestablish her street cred.
I just need her to please me like she did with Pink Friday. I still remember how great were the experience of listening to it for the first time.
Cold productions, fresh beats, dirty and playful rhymes. And then that tiny little bit of crossover appeal, with flawless midtempos like Catch Me and Save Me.
i'm excited for this album. i hope she works with hip-hop's best producers for the production. i trust nicki's talent, i know she'll deliver on any beat. more than the singles i'm excited for the album cuts. of course i live for her crazy punchlines & flow but i hope we get a couple personal tracks this era. i'm so ready! i need new nicki music.
