Pop singer Katy Perry stopped to chat with E! News while at the iHeart Music Festival in Las Vegas and shared with us that she'd love to work with the "Treasure" singer on a track someday.

"I've always said I'd wanna collaborate with Rihanna, but I'd love to collaborate with Bruno Mars. I always say, 'When I grow up, I wanna be the female version of Bruno Mars,' cause he's so wildly talented in showing everybody that he has so much diversity in him," Perry tells us.

I like Katy Perry's personality, she is very sweet and respectful, which is rare these days. Her voice is also good on studio but she lacks a lot live due to her poor breath control. I think they could do a cute tune together tho, not to mention it would probably top the charts

Bruno Mars tapped to open new Vegas venue

Fresh off a co-starring stint in the iHeartRadio Festival, Bruno Mars was announced Tuesday as the inaugural act at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas' new 3,000-seat venue set to open in December.

The Las Vegas Strip property said the singer-songwriter will perform at the Chelsea concert venue on Dec. 29 and Dec. 31 before returning to play six dates throughout 2014. Those dates include Feb. 15 through 16, May 23 through 24 and Aug. 22 through 23.

Tickets for all of the upcoming Bruno Mars shows go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. The resort announced prices for the pre-New Year's shows at $150 while the 2014 dates were priced at $95.

In describing the performance space, the Cosmopolitan said the "avant-garde" Chelsea will provide an up-close setting for concertgoers, boasting private VIP opera boxes, brick walls, glass chandeliers and a grand staircase.

For Mars, the chance to be a featured headlining act on the Las Vegas Strip is the latest honor for the 27-year-old crooner. He and his band, The Hooligans, were tapped to star in the halftime show of the upcoming Super Bowl. Mars also garnered three top five singles from his latest album, Unorthodox Jukebox.

I am much more relieved now. I wasn't totally in for Bruno being a exclusive for a Las Vegas Hotel or Casino tbh, he is in the beginning of his career, he needs to make albums and go on tour. But like this I think it's great, he will just do some shows there in the middle of his world tour. It's a win-win.

Katy is such a nice woman and childish too, just like Bruno
But yeah she really lack on vocal, so if they really do a collab, they have to avoid Katy's performance style and just go with Bruno's style instead. Singing while standing behind the mic, play instruments, you know something like that.


I was upset when I heard about this Vegas show. I thought it'd be like Celine and Britney, because they said it's Las Vegas residency. I love Bruno but I'd kick his ass if he really think to take Vegas residency like Celine

He still young and new. What he really need to do is keep making new music, improve himself, so he can get recognition he deserves with his work.
When he finally have great long discography, people will shut their mouth from excuse that he doesn't have strong discography to headline such a big event like Super Bowl.


By the way, we got new info about Bruno's role in Rio 2.

It's cool they are trying to do their thing but I think bruno isn't very happy about them doing a reality TV and letting it all out on the air especially with the death of his mother being talked about on TV.

Well, since the first time I heard about this reality show, I've always been indifferent.

I think Bruno felt that this was her sisters' decision and he didn't wanna involve in it. His sisters are grown women and they knew what they were doing.
His sisters have always been so open and share everything on twitter and instagram. So, they openly talked about Bernie is not a surprised at all. They're totally different with Bruno when it comes to privacy like this.

Bruno is like a freak when it comes to privacy, he rarely talks about his childhood or anything personal. He even cut all the media from his tour because he didn't want to get asked about his mother's death. He avoids red carpets and anything related to awards shows, he just goes on stage, performs and then leaves. Lucky us.
