As corny as this sounds, if Eminem would've died after The Eminem Show was released (Thank God he didn't) hardcore rap fans would consider him the greatest. How many rapper's first 4 are as great/consistent as Infinite, SSLP, MMLP & TES? Not even Pac's.

Now hardcore hip hop heads (with the exception of some) don't consider him #1 & #2 but #4-5, just because of stuff like Recovery & Encore (which I liked btw but for different reasons why I usually like his music)
