I can’t wait to make mac and cheese with you again. Remember that time where we made so much mac and cheese? It took up not only one baking dish, but two little casserole trays as well.
So much mac and cheese. We were eating mac and cheese for days after that, and feeding them to pretty much everyone — my friends, my little cousin, my parents… anyone.
But lately, I’ve been craving the mac and cheese again. Our special four-cheese mac and cheese, the cheese-sauce loaded with pepper (because I like pepper, okay?), and cheese oozing out of… practically every bite.
Then again, when I go into the kitchen to get out the stuff to make the mac and cheese, I realize that you’re not there to help me stir in the ridiculous amounts of milk, or to sneak in extra Parmesan into the sauce.
And it’ll be exhausting to do all that by myself. Hell, by the time I finish making the mac and cheese, I might be too tired to eat it.
So I just cut out the middle man, and resort to ordering in something quicker, but less satisfying. You need to be here already, so we can make mac and cheese.
