Is it too late for me to be on this list that you guys were waiting on? I haven't spoken much on this thread so I was just wondering. And if I don't make it on the list am I out of the competition?

Matty is going to choose the top 13 from the applications + judge's thoughts + people's thoughts (possibly a little bit) + activity (probably not heavily, though) + any other possible redeeming qualities, so it's up to him and the judges.
But if you don't make the list, then yes, you are out. This is just the qualifying round, the real game will start after we find out who made it in.

There's around 379 members logged on right now and it's 2:11am, so there's probably around 2x that when it's later in the day. I wouldn't be surprised if the laughter chain has hit that peak, word travels fast around here.

The people that regular the blogs section such as Jonny Lightning and the likeness of them don't see my meltdowns because they aren't games section users

Well, I'm gonna go to bed. Raising puppies that get up between 6 and 7 AM really disciplines you to go to bed between 11 PM and midnight.

I won't lie, it needed to have more of an impact and answer the question more. One line isn't enough to answer that type of question, and the answer you gave wasn't really the best either. But, the thing about it is that plenty of you guys didn't work hard on our applications because you didn't know they were going to be posted on or anything, so it's understandable that you didn't type out a whole big thing about yourselves.

Noo I'm not reading or anything. I'm not trying to be harsh - but a lot of you didn't really put too much work or a lot of information in your applications, so it's hard to judge. There were about half that did well, wrote a decent amount at minimum and all - but it's just difficult to get to know you and see if you're capable of entering the competition based off of one sentence or so.

But a lot of us that posted short applications had no clue that it had to be an essay, not cause we were lazy

I know, that's what I'm saying. But still... It didn't need to be as big as mine, but it should've been at least a paragraph or 3 sentences at least. It's just hard to judge and get to know you when there's so little information.
