I have a friend with a bit of a mini-afro. He goes to this super-exclusive prestigious technical high school. Basically, a bunch of White kids, who have never seen a Black person before, run up to him and are just DUMBFOUNDED by his hair.
Why is your hair like that? they asked him. Can I touch it?
It just looks so soft and healthy.
