Helen came up with the Danielle theory and Elissa mentioned it as much as Helen - which wasn't much. For the majority of the time that Howard thought Elissa was shady, it was not at an inappropriate level. He thought she was shady OR in-control because she and Amanda always hung out at that time and Helen/Elissa were a team and he knew Helen and Amanda were running the game so Elissa was guilty by association. Like most of the people in the house, it felt like he held her being Rachel's sister against her, too (unfair advantage).
Elissa's flip switched with Howard in that last week before his boot. That did increase her mentions of a possible D/H blood tie. I don't remember what happened exactly. I think she learned he was throwing her UTB to Candice somehow, but she went from loving him to giving him the cold shoulder. I think she also became convinced he was MVP for a short period there too.

Howard never really wanted her out of the game, it was more so Amanda.

Anytime Candice would try to defend Elissa (because she wanted to work with her), he'd shut it down. He may have wanted Amanda out first, but Elissa wasn't a close 8th on his list. She was in the Top 3.
