That's how it is for every artist when they're on tour. Pink, Rihanna and Bieber don't exactly have a lot going on at the moment, either.
If Taylor was at the forefront all year round, she'd be too overexposed. She already gets overexposed when she's at the forefront for a few months. It's not necessary. And we still get new small stuff fans care about every week or so. I mean, we just got a new song last week.
I think this base suffers from chronic dissatisfaction. I prescribe finding some footage (performances or interviews) or print interviews that you haven't seen before or haven't seen for years. There's thousands of stuff out there. Works for me.
If all else fails, try some real person fan fiction.
