Houston's mid-range was both enviable and extraordinary. Being both extremely vocally powerful and stunningly agile, Whitney had a control in this register that most singers would give their mic-hands for, with the ability to growl on even the highest of notes (a prime example being the D5 in 'Saving All My Love for You', which was open, clean, powerful and beautifully resonant). Whitney, too, possessed the agility of a coloratura in the mid-range and she also managed to maintain the trademark weightiness to her voice even as she ascended the fifth octave, with 'I'm Every Woman's C5 still sounding effortless despite it.
Even though Dileesa Hunter records music, there's a reason why no 1 cares enough to listen to her so called perfect technique. Someone who thinks she can sing better than a living legend should at least be famous. She'll stay the unheard voice of our generation with her expert YouTube vids. Anyone can get a degree but not everyone can make a career happen like she's failed to do.
Girl do you think these vocalists become amazing vocalists by themselves with no aide or training? Almost all our favs have been coached by people who are not famous but are GREAT at vocal coaching. Fame has nothing to do with it.
Some of you are exagerating with Xtina, she has a beautiful, amazing and unique voice...i want a video of her like those Pecinta posted
I agree -- I think Christina has one of the most beautiful natural voices I've ever heard; the problem lies with her technique. The person that did those vocal profiles of Mimi, Whitney and Bey did one for Christina, too. And well...
I will never get tired of saying this but her voice is (or was) like water. So pure, so crystal clear. It's like when you watch waterfalls from close and you realize how translucide it is, how perfect it is. The only other voice I like more than hers is Barbara Streisand's voice.
She offers international vocal consulting, coaching, training, producing, and artist development. She also records and tours with several recording artists and performs in various stage plays. The Complete Training Program gets her students to truly discover their vocal ability. As a master vocal coach and singer, Dileesa Hunter's commitment to vocal excellence places her students at the forefront of the music industry.
The first winner of a Mary Mary karaoke contest? Oh, that must mean a lot then
At the end of the day, in the real world, nobody really cares about any of this
Beyonce, for me, is the vocalist of this generation. She is an A class legend, and huge sales or huge sales not, she is written in the history books in big fat bold ass gold letters.

Yeah, never mind the advanced musical degree with a concentration in singing and years of experience as a vocal trainer in which she's developed two complete start to finish vocal courses and is paid very well for private vocal training...no, of course she has no clue what she's talking about.
No matter how much deflecting y'all try to do, it doesn't change the fact that Christina has poor technique and no one that is knowledgeable about proper technique will cosign that ****. You can attempt to detract from and discredit the opinions of those quoted all you like -- what you WON'T do, is find any expert that will recommend her technique. And if you can, please post -- I'll wait.
Beyonce to me is still like 'any other good black female singer', but I agree with Xtina comments, its a shame she thought she's too good for vocal lessons, Rihanna is better than people give her credit for, its just that her vocal is not suited for pop music, but she makes her pop unique anyway.
