It's lackluster and boring when compared to the other "4" tracks but awful it's not.
What does that have to do with anything anyway. WB is not something Beyoncé or any 32 years old would/should sing anyway.
It's completely BLAND gurl, it's like the worst thing she has ever done.

I'm glad Bey rejected it. I mean, I like the song but I'm not so crazy about it. It fits Miley, so keep it like that.

Bey probably didn't even listen to it, she just read "Dr Luke" and sent it right back with a "thank you for your effort" note

it would have flopped if Bey recorded it. Miley's voice and persona makes this song what it is. It would just be another "Rather Die Young" for Bey.

And Sacha did write the song, I'm thinking this is the song he was referring to when he said Bey rejected it.
This clearly then cannot be a Beyonce song she rejected, clearly here she did not write "Wrecking Ball" as Beyonce always writes her own songs

Probably. It's a great song for Miley and it fits her musical style but I don't think it's a "Beyoncé" song so I don't mind

But Bey needs a hit. The longer she goes without a smash, the harder it is for her to actually do it.
I would take one generic hit by Bey to ease the general public back to supporting her music.
