Is it true that artists/label get money after every spin on radio?
Someone told me that they get 3 cents every time any radio station in the US anywhere plays their songs.
I thought it was ridiculous and made up. But is there any truth to this?
Katy doesn't need it. Her song is actually loved by the general public as her sales and streaming show.
As if gaga needs payola to sell albums. i was obviously being sarcastic and you didnt catch that.
There is no such thing as payola. and no one has evidence of that.

Go Gorilla!! my fav song off UJ!! Though im mad that they didnt release Natalie or Moonshine
Moonshine will be the 4th international single. Gorilla just get released in US and Australia.
While New Zealand got both, Moonshine and Gorilla
That's according some source.
I don't think Roar was built to have longevity. We will probably get single #2 sometime in late September or early October. She's set to perform on SNL. Maybe she will debut the new single there.
This seems to be the pattern with Katy and Capitol's 1-2 approach:
IKaG grew quick and died quick; HnC had more longevity
CG grew quick and died relatively quick; TD had more longevity
PoM opened huge and died a quick death; WA had more longevity.
CG had better longevity than TD, plus TD released about 2 1/2 months after CG. Same with Wide Awake. Hot N Cold was 4 months. We aren't getting a new single until after the album. Probably early November.
