Just realized CMA has a Country Christmas special, so boom.

Promote TIU for the CMAs, and then promote the xmas album for the CMA special.

That special, and hopefully her own solo special, plus SNL would be enough to sell the album.

Blake's Christmas CD last year opened first week of October with 9k copies () but went on to sell close to 500k. With the right promo Kelly should easily pass that.

My guess "Tie It Up," she'll be a newlywed. CMAs air Nov. 6

I think they'll save the Christmas stuff for CMA Country Christmas. They film it Nov. 8th and it airs in Dec.

Oh I'd love for Kelly to do SNL for the Christmas album too. I think there's a good chance of her performing on the big shows like The Voice, X Factor, and Dancing With The Stars. All those finales are around Christmas time and have had artists sing Christmas music. And of course the tree lighting specials. Kelly has built a reputation of being a reliable and respected singer, so I'm sure everyone will want her for those.

I don't think anything would beat 4 grammy nominations for Kelly. It's obvious she won't get 5 or more.

Sarah Michelle Gellar & Kelly Clarkson On New Sitcom

Gellar went on to say one of the biggest thrills of the show was when Kelly Clarkson came to tape the very first episode and guest star. Gellar says, she rarely gets star struck but she was with Clarkson. Apparently Kelly was very, very, nervous and told the crew she promised herself to do things that will scare her this year and acting is one of the things on the scary list.

Blake is a huge country artist and is a huge album seller.

I really don't get why they are releasing the album so early. No one buys Xmas music in Oct. We should brace ourselves for very very low first week sales tbh.
