I stan for The Confessions Tour as one of her best (thinking it might be my 2nd-4th fave. MDNA since I got to go, and then Confessions, Sticky & Sweet and Drowned World tossed around frequently)

When I say this though people call it over rated, like why though? It's got a solid setlist from the album and mix of old songs as well with good revamps (LAV, Music Inferno, Erotica/You Thrill Me). The costumes were some of her better (Girlie Show and Re-Invention >>>>>>>>>>> The rest) which are pretty much good enough for me.

Yes! It's the closest thing we'll ever get to a greatest hits tour, and some of it was also really lovely and intimate. I love watching that.

I guess the only reason why people don't talk about it as much is because it's related to the whole American Life era of her career.

Ugh but it should be!!!! Even the hardcore stans from the 80's call it her 'greatest hits tour' because they say its so little of American Life in the setlist, but there's 6 (or 7 if you count Intervention in Mother and Father) of 11 tracks.

I don't think many of the other songs would have fit into the themes of each segment but if I were to fit more in, Easy Ride in the acoustic segment, and I'm So Stupid could be in the Scottish-tribal segment and replace Crazy For You (a nice touch but I'm not too nostalgic for it).

I heard she did "Intervention" in full during certain concerts but of course not on the DVD etc.

And I just love that "Burning Up" / "Material Girl" section. Thank God she did those songs once again.

"Beast Within" makes up for the missing AL tracks It's a shame though, yes.

The imagery and stuff like Lament are outstanding anyway.

I'm usually very indecisive so I seldom even try to rank her albums, but I just had the most rigorous and demanding workout of my life and it's given me some weird sense of temporary clarity. So here goes.

It's not my personal favourite but I do think it might be her best. Or at least one of them, since she's got so many masterpieces. I always say that its name is no misnomer ― this song really is something of a prayer.
