Unbiased opinion - I think she's stunning, not conventionally pretty but that's what makes her attractive. Animal was a GREAT pop album, with a few exceptions (Dinosaur, although it is a bop). I think she needs to stop with the in your face party stereotype, like drinking pee, if she can. I understand that she's on Dr Luke's record label, so she can't always get away with doing what she wants. Cannibal, was pretty good for an EP and The Harold Song should have been a single. Warrior, could have been a really strong record without the typical Dr Luke tracks. Love Into The Light, Last Goodbye or Warrior should have been released as the lead single. Out of all the singles only Crazy Kids should have been considered for a single release, perhaps as the second or third.
She can still bounce back, with perhaps a slightly more serious, but still Ke$ha image.
I love this post. you can stay! Imo thinking of you would have ben the perfeft lead single. but i like your choices too!
Who told you you're allowed to rain on my parade like that? Ugh, just thinking about the situation is so depressing. It would be funny, actually, if it weren't so freaking abysmal.
I'm sorry, boo At least we know things can only go up from here - RIGHT!?!?

I agree with everything you said except Die Young was actually a pretty good lead single choice, I know it's a bit basic and more of the same but it still bops, it enjoyed a good amount of longevity, Animal-era success, and also sounded pretty fresh compared to her old singles, something about it fit nicely on the radio.

I pretty much second a lot of this almost word for word. Between this and the Britnities... brain twins?!
I do agree that some of her crazy anecdotes and outrageous antics may kind of be nearing their use-by dates. Some of them are fun and exciting still, but I feel like she would be just as interesting and just as alluring if she'd just be 100% real, y'know? She doesn't need to do some of that stuff to appeal to me is what I'm trying to say, I guess. I still love her regardless, though, obviously. I mean, not for nothing is the woman my fave.

I think my opinion would be different if the message was different. The verses were great. The chorus could have been edited slightly. Just the Die Young lyrics, other than that it was fine.
Question - How do you multi quote? Otherwise I'll just be posting like three in a row, and I don't want to make your base messy.
Die Young / Thinking Of You / Supernatural / Last Goodbye
Would have been my single choices
I pay ToY absolute dust I skip it every time it comes on.

The message of Die Young is good, but I see what you're getting at. With the shooting etc too

Not you turning it into the Britney base then leaving your droppings everywhere
I'm just playing, but you click the speech bubble icon next to 'Reply w/ Quote'

Thank you! And yes sorry for the Britney invasion.
As for Die Young. Yeah, the message isn't bad but maybe she could have just made it slightly more obvious that it was about living life to the fullest everyday, so don't waste a day of it.

Of course, Ke$ha will keep the majority of her stanbase no matter what. You love her for her, not the image that she portrays. But I agree with you, that being real is more important, and usually (with a few exceptions) it works in your favor. And I think for Ke$ha it would really help.

I completely forgot Thinking Of You. Great song, except maybe having the same title as a Katy song wouldn't be the best idea for a single release. Even if Katy's one wasn't successful. Although, do people outside music forums even remember that song anyway?

Weirdly enough 2 of my friends started singing Katy's ToY I love that song though, and also most of my friends love ToY most off of Warrior, so you can ignore me if it really is a good choice
Imo thinking of you woud have been perdect. its differnt enough from keshas past singles and keshas voice sounds nice on it. plus its a song tht most. people can relate to nd its got a catchy chorus
