I just got home again, I'm wasted!!!!!! Lemme ask for another ban!
Happy Birthday! Queen Pink is a huge part of my life... In a bad way cause I really shouldn't devote so much time to her... But her songs have a huge impact on me and I love her personality. Thanks for writing Just Like a Pill, Family Portrait and Waiting For Love. These songs are so flawless!!!!!!!!!!!!
Honestly, this last era was kinda bad.... She's not that focused on being an artist anymore and that kinda stinks... I'm sorry guys, I know everybody hates me here already but whatever... I just don't feel she's making any effort to connect with her fans. At least that video for Try was a career high. What a great video!!!! Of course MTV denied a Video of the Year nom but it's the best Pink video ever. After the US leg she's gonna hide for 2 years and I'll probably be too old for this. I'm already 26. I can't be here and have a normal grown up life. I'll regret this so much... LMAO. Anyway, love u guys, truly, some really great people. Pink fans are one of a kind and I'm lucky to have at least talked to any one of you.
Here's hoping she comes to the US and does some promo. Lord knows True Flop needs some. Cheeeeerrrrss!

I know. I can't believe she doesn't say NO to them.
Today is her b'day so I won't go on with Braz and ranting over this era. But I agree with him.

You know what i find most interesting in her different eras? Is that Bsides and bonus tracks are almost always the best
I mean why would she leave Timebomb and the lyrical perfection that is Chaos and Piss out of the main album

It doesn't matter that's her Bday.
Since everyone gave their opinion, here's mine about this era:
Vocally and performance-wise, it's her best era yet. Tour videos, performances (Try performance will be one of the most remembered performance in the recent history), just everything. She's on the top of her game. She's really into it and you can see she gives 110% every night. I really admire her for that. Her energy is insane.
I know many complained about tour setlist. More that 1,5m people will see this tour. Those people want to hear her signature songs. I think she pleased her fans and GP, at the same time.
Comercially, this era was big. Probably her biggest era since M!ss. I'm more than satisfied.
Promo - huge potential for promo. Especially with the huge success of JGMAR and Try. I really wished she promoted her songs more, but I suppose she wants to spend more time with family. Plus, her performances are tough and exhausting, so I guess she needs more time to rest and everything. Although, she's selling constantly even without any promo.
Maybe it's a good thing that she doesn't promote her material that much. We've seen how many artists are in decline because market became oversaturated with their non-stop exposure in every media. Maybe that's the reason why she's selling so well after all these years. People never got really tired of her, cuz she isn't jumping out their fridges. lol
Material, well. For me this album is better than Funhouse, but not even close to I'm Not Dead. I don't think she'll ever top that album.
The first time I heard the album it was a bit underwhelming. But, it eventually grew on me.
It's true that she didn't bring anything new with this album. And I expected this kind of album, after all the changes in her life. I don't think she lost her edge. It's still there, but it's more soften, more mature.
From her interviews, you can tell that she's very happy. I don't think she was ever this happy. And I don't think she'll have any dramatical changes with her next projects. She gets everything: commercial success, critical acclaim, huge tours. People love her more than ever. I can see many people relate to this album. I'm still not sure if she should take some risk with her next album. It could be either good or either bad. I'm not sure even if she wants to take some risk. One thing is for sure, she should with some new producers (Eg White, Alex Da Kid, Danja etc...)
Videos:
Blow Me - ok video, didn't like the BW version that much
Try - probably her best video
JGMAR - love story, solid video. It won VMA, afterall.
True Flop - bad, bad, bad. As I said, she could've smashed with far better single and far better video. Especially after huge success of JGMAR. But, than again, her 4th singles were never that huge. The album is stable everywhere, so maybe it's a good thing. idk

Let me agree on everyhing u said - except that I never had a disliking problem with the album, so it didn't have to grow on me!
I loved its maturity and the general P!nk sound it had! Many actually find it great that she sticks to her sound and doesn't change her style much!

I didn't dislike the album. I didn't like Blow Me, so I was very sceptical about everything. But, now I think that almost every song is better than Blow Me.
And I see many people praising her for staying true to herself too and not changing drastically.

Well the only 2 songs i tend to skip sometimes are AWAWA and TL
I love the lyrics from AWAWA but the song is too loud kind of, for me, i love all the other songs!
And yes, many people think that she has her signature sound and are glad that she isn't changing it, in order to sell or something!

Songs I don't like are Blow Me, True Love, HCTW and that's it. HCYNH is ok, but it got old quickly for me.
However, bouns tracks really slayed me this era. Timebomb, Chaos and Piss, Run, Good Old Days>>>>>>>

All the bonus tracks SLAYED! TImebomb would be such a smash!
But you know, when she said It's only Love not a timebomb, she meant
The single is only true love, not timebomb

I'll never forgive her for paying dust to such an amazing track. It's everyone's favorite.

Oh well, you know as long as her songs speak to me and slay me, i don't care much really about the commercial or hit factor!
I mean it's important but still

I want P!nk to release an EP with all the recent unreleased tracks we didn't hear yet. I made a cover for it a while ago.
1. Hypocrite
2. Healed
3. Go To Hell Your Way (I'll Go Mine)
4. Lie To Me
5. Black Gold
6. Bittersweet Delight
7. Careful What You Wish For
8. Maybe You Still Love Me
9. Pieces
Another idea I have is to release a new version of 'Are we all we are' with Alex Clare.

She should re-release TTAL with some previously unreleased tracks to go along with her second US leg
