That's why I find those kinds of fan fiction tacky. They don't even know what it's like. But it's worse when that's their choice of topic when writing the fan fic. I prefer a sophisticated romantic approach without the sex tbh.

Reminds me of when I stumbled across a Niall fan fic. It was basically one of those domination fantasies.

I was so sad I think I cried for a good period of time actually

One Larry fanfic actually had SUCH an effect on me that I wrote a few lyrics about it but stopped and I never finished b/c I haven't ever felt like that since then.

I still consider them my best lyrics ever.

Are fanfics always sexual? Maybe I'm using the wrong term. It was just about a journey through one of the regions. Like playing the game, but it's written and there's extra things added.

I read it when I was like 14 on a Pokemon forum I used to frequent. I thought we were talking strictly 1D fanfics which is why I said I've never read one. Still, I've only ever read, like, one.

I wasn't being super serious by the way. Just realised my post came across as a swift booking but it was meant to come across as jest.

I think most of this base can agree the latter half. I can kinda see why the girls would write them in the first place but they're simply not my thing (the really sexual ones).
