Are we not even sure that the 17th is going to be the release date for the single and are we now thinking it's going to be Miley's song performed with Britney being the special guest?

Highly unlikely. Miley's rumored album track list is already floating around the web and there is no such song by the name of Werk Bitch on that album, nor would a producer like Jean Baptiste hype up a single for another artist that he didn't work with. It IS Britney's single, the album WILL be released in the fall, and Miley probably WON'T be the special guest.

will.i.am is basically confirmed as the producer, so you can bet it will be him.

She knows we all want her to dance like before, that's why she's in the studio a lot lately (I Hope so)
I don't know if she'll be as good as before, but I really think it will be better than the FF era (at least I Hope So )
