If she and label not happy with Applause they should wait till its fully dead and bam release another single, just when the GP got the "sour" taste out of their mouths.

Exactly. Applause is growing (it had a good rebound update today on radio and has been stable on iTunes), and even if it that growth is slow it still holds potential. It's obviously not going to be a #1 smash, but in a best case scenario the song can have longevity. Longevity will make the song look like a hit on paper (it already has a #4 peak) and will give the second single the platform it needs to have a fair chance at radio.
If Sex Dreams is rushed out the confusion will kill both songs on radio, with some still playing Applause, others moving on to Sex Dreams, and some won't play either after taking a chance with the first single and losing.

Anybody remember during TFM era when, right after the singles were announced, they started rising early on Billboard? It actually became a problem because the singles were going Top 10 before the videos and were peaking too early I remember Telephone went Top 20 and was rising weeks before the video.
