Also... people might call me crazy but I've always thought Just Dance has a sinister undertone, so it was no surprise to me when she referenced it in Monster. There was definitely some terrible **** that happened to her (sexually--didn't she say her first time was "horrible" too?) and she's been touching on it since the very beginning. I get what you're saying with "Just Dance", too - specifically "gonna be okay".

I'm happy she's helping herself get past whatever happened, though.

I noticed those Monster lyrics after the first few listens. And that line in Just Dance ("how'd I turn my shirt inside out") makes me wonder as well. It breaks my heart for her.
