It's not purely because of its subject matter and subsequent poor radio performance they theorize the song will have.

Very well written. I just believe a lot of monsters are lacking self awareness though.
Aura both sonically and lyrically are a big risk. Sonically it sounds similar to her other past work and has been shown that it only appeals to the fanbase not the GP. Lyrically it sparks a lot of controversy with her commenting on Islam and the middle east. Especially as tensions rise between US and Syria.
MANiCURE both lyrically and sonically are risky in different ways as well. Sonically the song is a widely 80's influenced Hey Mickey style track. That style of music isn't popular in todays market and has a similar sound that was on BTW. Lyrically the song also appeals to a limited market.
Sex Dreams is the best option. Sonically it is incredibly catchy, sounds different from the rest of her discography, and plays on a lot of recent trends(retro urban influence, heavy use of strings, light and airy pop vocals). Lyrically it is extremely relatable. It does possess some elements of risk with the sexual nature of it. However sonically this song is if CMM and BL had a baby but hired Gaga as the surrogate mother
