I think a "slower" Gaga sound like Sex Dreams could work right now. The public is getting into more slow indie pop lately. Gagas song needs to stand out, it can't sound like anything else on the radio. Except a Zedd song

Whatever music makes you feel, that's a very personal thing.
I mean, ARTPOP was the first Gaga song I became emotional at listening to.....but I accept if other people don't weep as well

I started crying during MANiCURE though. Mostly cause I was so emotional seeing her perform. I wept all the way through the end of ARTPOP then started again after the Swine speech/song.
We have to understand that she needs to release a single with the most easy to digest lyrics and the most relatable. Sex Dreams could flop, but it has a catchy chorus, normal lyrics and well, sex sells. Sadly it might be too much for american radio but at this point who cares? It seems like she doesn't care about smash hits anymore...
What there are way worse explicit songs that play on the radio.
MANiCURE would be lucky to outpeak MTN. Its a cringeworthy song that'd only appeal to gays and limited female audience
