The GP needs simple (basic) lyrics that they can sing to. In my opinion, MANiCURE fits this bill the most. As much as I love Aura, because I ****ing love that song, they will NOT get it. It's sad, but it's true. And as much as I hate saying that one is "deep," Gaga is too deep for the majority of the GP. We get Gaga, we really get her. And that's why we can appreciate the beauty that is Aura.
Aura will come as a single anyways. It's pretty much set in stone that it's the telephone continuation.
We have to understand that she needs to release a single with the most easy to digest lyrics and the most relatable. Sex Dreams could flop, but it has a catchy chorus, normal lyrics and well, sex sells. Sadly it might be too much for american radio but at this point who cares? It seems like she doesn't care about smash hits anymore...

it's nice that everyone seems to be forgetting the backlash RedOne got after Judas flopped but DJWS is going to get the LASHING x1000 more than how it is now if his produced second single isn't a smash.
I'll be ok with whatever the 2nd single is, I'm confident Gaga will make it work with cool performances. I just want whatever they choose to be successful enough for their taste so they don't have to move on to another single so quickly.

And I hope if it does, that Bey is on it. I'm hoping she'll work it out. Also, she needs to work on singing those verses live. I think she sounded great on everything else, just that one was quite nasally. If she can perform it live, I'll be all for it.

Judas flopping was not King Nadir's fault. If anything, the subject content turned many people off from it.
Before wanting Nadir back, HE WOULD HAVE TO PROVE HIMSELF worthy of a HIT tho

But from what it looks like RedOne only has writing credits on Gypsy. Unless we the usual "oohs" RedOne songs have on Gypsy I don't think it'll be like a RedOne production at all.
