but at the same time, we didn't have food stamps till like the middle of the last century, and the poor survived just fine without it b4 then
i'm trying to say that people can adapt.

I notice people against food stamps almost always base their stance on stereotypes, and part of the stereotype is the "black welfare queen".

Americans abuse just about every system we have.

But I think its sad when it comes down to something we obviously need like food, to be limited or taken away bc of our background. (Lack of education , lack of income to balance the cost of living , etc..)

But not everyone goes to High Schools that give the best education, and offer the best classes to help you go to College. You do realize those people also get denied loans.

True, depends how easy/hard it is to get a job. It must be a lot harder than it was back then. It is in the UK anyway.

Law is worthless, to be honest. We have more lawyers per capita in this country than any other country, and the median attorney's wage is pitiful.
I know this because I clerked for a lawyer when I was in high school, and he made sh!t and told me not to believe the hype.

Business is a crapshoot too. Depends on the person and his/her creativity/guts. A lazy/uncreative person can do all the studying he/she wants, but they aren't going to get far in business without trying their as* off and using street smarts.
